Where did the year 2011 go? The time has absolutely flown by and here I stand just waiting to catch up. Do you ever feel like this?
I am very thankful for every day that God allows me to enjoy and I have learned to take nothing for granted. This lesson hasn't come easy though. We are human and sometimes we just feel sure that person or thing will always be there for us no matter what, but only God is a sure thing and friends you can certainly count on Him all of the time.
We hope you had a wonderful Christmas. I know we sure did and as always it went too fast. Hardly time to enjoy all the goodies and the true celebration of Christ birth. Our church did something different on Christmas day. We had a birthday party for Jesus complete with a birthday cake, ice cream and all the trimings. It was well attended and enjoyed by all.
The girls are back in school after winter break but they dreaded giving up their leisure and free days to jump back into the grind of studing. They get good grades in all their subjects and for that I'm very pleased. Julie and Sarah are in their second semester of nursing and they recently explained that they would soon be dissecting parts............That's the part I might not want to do.

I am not a political person, but I believe we need to really pray like we've never prayed before for our country and our leaders. From the sound of things, there's change on the horizon and it probably won't be good, but if we pray and trust in God, He can help us turn things around for good. So keep praying and believing.
I know it's almost a year away, but we want you to mark your calender for New Years' eve December 31, 2012. The Browns, the Browns II and The Easter Brothers will be together once again at Full Gospel Chapel at 1010 McCoy St. in Clinton. You don't want to miss this one!
